About this image

There are many jobs that can lead to back injury. If you are not sure if a job is risky for your back, ask your boss or an occupational therapist. Here are some tips to help ease the pain and inflammation of a back injury:-- Take ibuprofen or Aleve if you start to experience pain after being injured.-- Keep your back cool and comfortable by wearing loose clothing and avoiding direct sunlight.-- Rest as much as possible; staying in bed or on the couch will help reduce inflammation and pain.-- Physical therapy may be necessary for people with severe back injuries. Physical therapy can help improve range of motion, flexibility, strength, and balance.
