About this image

A heart exam is a routine medical check that helps diagnose and treat heart diseases. It is also used to screen for heart conditions in people who don't have symptoms. The most common heart disease is coronary artery disease. This occurs when the arteries that supply blood to the heart become blocked. Other heart diseases include arrhythmia, angina, and aortic aneurysm. Some easy ways to take care of your heart at an early age include getting regular exercise, eating a healthy diet, and avoiding smoking and binge drinking.
