About this image

Influenza vaccines are especially important in the colder months, when the virus is most active. In fact, a study published in the journal Nature found that around 50 percent of seasonal deaths are caused by influenza. While it's not guaranteed that everyone will get sick each year, getting a flu vaccine is still one of the easiest ways to protect yourself from this nasty infection.
