About this image

ADHD medication treatments vary, but they all aim to improve focus, attention, and hyperactivity in people with the disorder. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to managing ADHD, but some common treatments include stimulants, like Ritalin and methylphenidate (Concerta, Metadate), and nonstimulants like atomoxetine (Strattera). If you think you might have ADHD, your doctor will ask about your symptoms and take an ADHD test.
